Claudio Simonetti

Claudio Simonetti was born on January 29, 1929 in Italy. He inherited his distinct love for art from his father. He began studying art at Rime School of Art, after which he traveled around France and Italy. With his first-rate painting that captures the reflection and light of Italy’s seascape and landscape, Simonetti can be called the Italian ‘Maestro’ of the 21st century. Simonetti adequately collects the romance and depth of Italy in the representations of canals in Venice to coastal views of Southern Italy. He captivates loyal collectors by being a true master of reflections and light. Today his private collections can be seen worldwide. “I travel to recapture the beauty that I would otherwise forget, and then I can once again capture a small moment in time in my paintings and keep it in my heart forever”. -Claudio Simonetti
