Marc Chapaud

Marc Chapaud is a French Postwar and Contemporary artist. He was born in 1941 in Paris. He studied at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts of Paris from 1958 to 1959 in the Architecture section and the Peinture section from 1960 to 1961. He left the school in 1962 having completed several studio courses. The main settings of his paintings include Venice, Bruges, Paris, Corsica, Cologne, Amsterdam, Brittany, Japan, Route Jacques Coeur, and Provence villages. He frequently paints flowers, landscapes, the streets of Paris at the time of Victor Hugo, Rome, and Italian landscapes.
