Hai-Gyu Yoon

Born in Kung Joo, South Korea, in 1959, Hai Gyu Yoon studied art at Kyei Myung University. His emphasis was on fine art oil painting at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. After graduation, the artist taught middle and high school students in Korea for over 16 years, where he feels his greatest achievement was the influence that he had on his students and colleagues. Now in America, Yoon is excited to make similar contributions here. Yoon would like to be remembered as an artist in the Naturalistic Tradition. He is regarded in Korea as "an artist who tries to breathe with nature and to express nature as it is."
