Oleg Turchin
Oleg brings a sharp eye and a flexible style that can encompass realism, photorealism and surrealism. His work is held in private collections in the USA, Italy, Holland, Turkey, Ukraine, Greece, Russia, and in his home, the Republic of Moldova. He has shown in
galleries in Greece, Ukraine and the United States. Oleg was born in Moldova, and began his studies of art at the children’s art school, Sciusev, under V.B. Bulba. In 1981, he began his studies at the Fine Arts College (I.E. Repin) under S.S. Babjuk and Proniaev. He later studied art at the Institute of Fine Arts under painting faculty leaders I.I. Serbinov and V.I. Kazakov. He is also known for large works in public facilities.
